Bio of Founder...

Barbara Finer, QuiVivity's Founder, has 20 years experience in technology marketing. Her focus is early stage companies as well as companies experiencing significant growth or change. There, Barbara provides assistance in evaluating and authoring business plans, and leading the development and execution of marketing plans.

In addition to founding QuiVivity (formerly HTMP) in 1997, Ms. Finer held senior marketing roles at 3Com, MathSoft, NetGenesis, WebPresence and Synoptics. She helped found companies that include Radial Technologies and CxO Management Group.

Ms. Finer has been active on several not-for-profit and for-profit Boards including the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge (www.mitforumcambridge.org), Choices Wellness Center, WPI Venture Forum (www.wpiventureforum.org), StudentBusinesses.com (bought by Kauffman Foundation) and SpiderSplat SEO.

Ms. Finer has a technical background and degree (BS, Northeastern University) and an advanced degree in management of innovation and technology (MSA, Boston University).

Barbara and QuiVivity are members of several technology-advancing business and entrepreneurship associations including TiE-Boston, MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge, WPI Venture Forum and Medical Development Group (MDG).
